Marlin BBQ’d with Mango Papaya Salsa

Ingredients:

4 Marlin steaks

Marinade:

4 Tablespoons soy sauce

2 Tablespoons Olive oil

4 Garlic cloves Minced

2 Tablespoons Mirin (Japanese sweet cooking wine) optional

2 Tablespoons grated ginger

2 Green onion minced

1 Tablespoon honey

Papaya Mango Salsa:

1/2 Cup Papaya diced

1 Mango diced

1 Tablespoon red onion minced

1 Tablespoon cilantro minced

2 Tablespoons red pepper minced

1 Lemon Juiced

Directions:

Marinade: put fish and all marinade ingredients in a ziplock bag or in a container to marinate 1hour in the fridge.

Salsa: combine all ingredients and place in the fridge.

Preheat BBQ and cook fish for approximately 3 minutes per side.

Serve with salsa.

Tips:

Leftover Marlin and Salsa make awesome fish tacos!
